New Hampshire Technical Institute
The New
Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) in conjunction with Soccer Express
implemented an
Athletic Field Master Plan that called for the construction of seven soccer
fields to be located off
Fort Eddy Road – Institute Drive in Concord, NH.
Jesseman
Associates was selected by NHTI to complete the design of the fields, prepare
construction drawings and assist with Construction Phase services.
Design
services began with optimizing the size of the fields to minimize the impact to
wetlands,
adjacent baseball and softball fields, and the top of the bank of the Merrimack
River.
Proposed grading was completed to minimize earthwork requirements and to allow
excess storm
water to runoff the fields. An irrigation system was designed to be installed
on two of the fields
with the core of the system designed for future expansion to irrigate 6 of the
fields.
